Family Gathering

This peach cobbler cooked in the dutch oven was very good. It cooked in 20 minutes.
I melted a stick of butter in dutch oven over hot coals. I poured the batter over the butter and then spooned one large can sliced peaches over the batter. I sprinkled 1 cup of brown sugar over that and sprinkled with Cinnamon. The batter is 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, pinch of salt and 3/4 cup milk.

This is the beef tips before cooking. They were a little crowded but we were expecting a crowd.
Grandma stirred the beef tips right before they were done. Took them about 1 and 1/2 hours.
We cooked the biscuits in 14 in. oven on left and the beef tips on the bottom oven on right. The cobbler is in the top oven. Sorry, I didn't get more pictures of food after it was cooked because it always looks so good when the lid is removed.
This is the butter melting for the cobbler. That was my favorite dish of all.
