A friend of mine and I have become very interested in cooking in dutch ovens; the kind that you use with charcoal underneath and on the lid. Pioneer women we are not! But, we plan to have some good food at camp when our husbands come back from a horseback ride.

Cooking Beans in Dutch Oven
The beans have been soaking all morning and are now ready to cook. I have some left over ham in them. Should be good.
